Shipping, Return & Size Guide Policies

Processing time

ᴥ All items are handmade to order. Because this is not a full-time business, processing times can vary week to week. You can expect

5–7 business days, but sometimes orders ship sooner. We always do our best to ship as quickly as possible.
ᴥ Orders are subject to availability and Paws&Licks reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, including unavailability.

Shipping options

ᴥ Regular shipping (Portugal only): lower cost, no tracking or proof of delivery

ᴥ Registered shipping (Portugal & International): higher cost, includes tracking and proof of delivery

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated by destination, total order weight, and packaging. Rates vary depending on the shipping option chosen.

Delivery time

Delivery time varies by destination and carrier. Domestic deliveries typically take 2-4 business days, and international deliveries may take 5-7 business days. Delays can occur due to customs, strikes, or natural events.

Customs & duties

International orders may be held by customs and may incur additional fees (customs/tariffs). These fees are not included in shipping costs and are the customer’s responsibility.

Incorrect address & undeliverable packages

Paws&Licks is not responsible for deliveries returned or rejected due to an invalid, incomplete, or outdated address. Please double-check your address before placing your order. If a package is returned, a new shipping fee will be required to resend it.

Lost or stolen packages

Once your package leaves our hands, the carrier is responsible for delivery.

ᴥ If you choose regular shipping (Portugal only, no tracking), Paws&Licks is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
ᴥ For registered shipping, you may submit a claim through the carrier’s website if your order is lost or damaged. Please contact us for any details required for your claim. The outcome of the claim is out of our control.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Paws&Licks, every accessory is handmade in small batches or made to order, with lots of care and attention to detail. Because of this, we have a limited return policy — but we’re always here to help if something isn’t right.​​

Damaged or Faulty Items

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or faulty, we’re happy to offer a replacement or full refund (excluding original shipping costs).

   ᴥ Please contact us within 5 days of delivery

   ᴥ Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos

   ᴥ Once approved, the item must be returned within 7 days of our reply

Incorrect Size Ordered

We understand that sizing can sometimes be tricky.

If your item arrives and you realise you ordered the incorrect size, we can offer a store credit for the value of the item (excluding shipping), provided that:

   ᴥ You contact us within 5 days of delivery

   ᴥ The item is unused, in perfect condition, and resellable

   ᴥ Accessories are returned within 7 days of our reply

   ᴥ Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

For hygiene and quality reasons, we recommend a careful indoor try-on only.

Non-Returnable Items

As a small handmade business, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

   ᴥ Change of mind

   ᴥ Incorrect size chosen without prior contact

   ᴥ Items showing signs of wear, damage, or use

Handmade Nature

All Paws&Licks accessories are handmade, meaning:

   ᴥ Pattern placement may vary

   ᴥ Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and lighting

   ᴥ Small variations are part of what makes each piece unique
